Steve Thorne follows up his previous critically acclaimed albums - Emotional Creatures : Part One and Part Two : Emotional Creatures with his new album Into The Ether which has just been released on Festival Music label.
Once again, Stevie T has managed to get Prog Royalty to help him out in the studio. This time Pete Trewavas, Nick D'Virgilio (Spocks Beard), Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree), Tony Levin, John Giblin (Peter Gabriel), John Beck (It Bites), John Mitchell (It Bites / Arena) and Gary Chandler (Jadis) have lent their undoubted musical talents.
According to the press release from Festival Music: The production, songwriting and presentation of Into The Ether is a significant step up from the first two albums. Thought provoking lyrics, very strong melodies and lush arrangements are all used to great effect, more so than ever before. The CD comes with a 28 page booklet and 'O' Sleeve packaging, and is of particular interest for fans of Spocks Beard, Marillion, Porcupine Tree and It Bites, but if you love great music and memorable lyrics and melodies, this is one that will not disappoint!
After having had a quick listen to the album, I'm not going to argue!
