Big Big Train - From The River To The Sea (demo)
Written by Charlie O'Mara

Here's another good tape by another good young British band. Big Big Train come from Dorset, the home of Galahad. However, despite thanking Stuart on the cover, the band sound nothing like Galahad.

Anyway, back to the tape. After getting off to a nervous start, the tape bursts into life, with the band showing great potential on this 10 track, 45 minute tape. If you want a Pointer to their sound, it's a bit like It Bites meets "Trev'n'Pete" period Jadis, with an occasional touch of Yes and IQ thrown in for good measure.

All in all, a good debut from the band. But don't take it from me, Buy it for yourselves and make a new band happy!
