Ok this page is for you, the hard core PROG rockers. It enables you to get musical arguments of your chests and let you decide who is right or wrong. So for those of you who are new to reading Silhobit, then let me tell you what this page is about. I Judge Jellyman will put forward the evidence and you the jury will make up the decisions and give a verdict of guilty or not guilty.

I have two cases to put forward to you in this edition. But first many thanks for your support and correspondence with the two cases.

Case no.1

Is Phil Collins Guilty of seriously neglecting the music of GENESIS and bringing their music down to a standard of dis-repair?

Two letters I chose to put in were, these by two PROG rock fans which are for and against. The verdicts will he shown later, but thanks to everyone who voted.

Letter no.1 from Mr Darren Gorse. 
"Dear Judge Jellyman I first listened to GENESIS when they released their infamous album "FOXTROT" in 1973. The Music was very fruitfull with a lovely rich sound and full of interesting time signatures fantastic musical interludes, and outstanding lyrical content. They released many more excellent albums such as "SELLING ENGLAND BY A POND" and the outstanding "THE LAMB LAYS DOWN ON BROADWAY". The departure of PETER GABRIEL ended an era for PROG rock music. Since the departure of Mr Gabriel and MR HACKET, MR COLLINS was able to change the bands musical direction by writing such so called TOP OF THE POPS and CHARTSHOW kiddies classics as MAMA and good old PAPERLATE.
So Judge Jellymen I believe that Phil Collins is GUILTY of changing a once talented PROGRESSIVE band into a mind numbing REGRESSIVE pop band
P.S. "Phil should change his solo album title from NO JACKET REGUIRED to "NO TALENT REQUIRED!" so I say he is GUILTY!!!."

Letter no.2 from Sharon Gorse.
"Dear Judge Jellymen I think Phil is great. I've got all his records though, I haven't heard any GENESIS records. I really like the song "A groovy kind of love" as me and my boy friend like to dance to it down at our youth club. Also I think he Is a great actor in the film "BUSTER". He really has a talent for acting especially when he does his London accent which must of took ages to learn. Anyway I think Phil is quite and I don't care what people say about him".

Now you have read two letters on this case and here is the results. I stress this is not a wind up and these numbers represent the amount of letters sent to me.

So there you have it, I Judge Jellyman find Mr Phil Collins Guilty of seriously neglecting the music of GENESIS and bringing their music into disrepair

Ok for the next issue I put forward a case Concerning the meaning of a certain MARILLION lyric. What I Judge Jellyman wants to know what the hell this lyric means and was FISH under the influence of illicit substances?
