If the truth be known, 99% of the so called 'prog' bands that I hear are average, if not pretty awful and one wonders why they even bother. Every now and then one falls from the letterbox and is actually genuinely good. Galleon's new CD lands into this category - in fact this one is actually outstanding and deserves full prog recognition for being good both musically, vocally and productionly.
The cover may look like a computer game but their stuff is fresh, clear, uplifting and heaps better than much of the prog-shit available from many of the mail order companies (not GFT). I don't want to comment on individual tracks because they are all good.
Buy it now.
This is one of
the CDs that will always be very near or in my CD player.
