 I have given the first full album by Karma Pilot a few spins. The more spins the better it gets. I must say it's better than the singles, which were released last year. You could buy the single CDR Midnight Paranoia since this is not featured on this album.

The first song, Infinity Sky, is a minimalistic tune, but beautiful. The best track on the album is Thirteen Numbers. If you listen to it you know why. The instrumental : Intermission - Take The Next Step is very smooth and addictive.

Another highlight on the album is A New Career, which is divided in two parts. Don't expect a furious and hard song, it's just lots of synthesizers (they are found a lot on this CD, but that's a bonus).

A Warning From Future History reminds me of Porcupine Tree, also the quality. This is one of the songs I like very much. The "older" music on the CD, Never Seen This Before (featured on the last Silhobbit Podcast), The Last Place On Earth and Summer 1999 (superb instrumental) fit in quite nicely to the rest of the album.

I was asked not to mention that there is a secret track on this album, so I won't.

It's a keyboard/synthesizer dominated album and that's good, very good. I enjoyed it. I listened to it while writing this review.

I think this CD will be liked by people who loved Porcupine Tree in the second part of the Nineties, but it is different, has no weakness, and these are things which makes this CD good.
