Canadian singer/songwriter Robin Brock's first album Blame It On Rock & Roll was released a couple of years ago and received rave reviews in Canada and the US. Hidden Power. is her second release, and has been produced by legendary producer Keith Olsen, and features songs written by Robin, as well as John Capek,  Randy Bachman and Alan Ray Scott (who has worked with Celine Dion amongst others). She's also got a great band behind her, featuring Jeff Pilson (Dokken) on bass, James Kottak (Scorpions) on drums and the versatile Tim Pierce on guitars.

Robin is blessed with powerful voice similar to Leanne Rimes or Anastasia, and she uses it to great effect on the twelve tracks featured here. Stand out tracks for me are the opener I'm Doing Fine (Without You), In This Skin, Naked and That Scares Me.

Robin has just announced a UK tour. She'll be rocking the following venues

April 2nd Pressure Point, Brighton
April 3rd London BBC Club (lunchtime showcase for Radio 2)
April 3rd Canadian Embassy, London (Evening)
April 4th tbc
April 5th Royal Park Cellars, Leeds
April 6th Oakwood Leisure Centre, Rotherham (Supporting Ray Wilson)
April 7th Blues Bar, Harrogate
April 8th tbc Chesterfield
April 10th - 15th Europe tbc

Her touring band features IQ's Paul Cook n drums, John Jowitt on bass, and Arena/The Urbanes John Mitchell on guitars. Should be well worth seeing!
