Shocking news just in! Those Summer Indoors guys have unfortunately had to cancel their one off reunion show at this years Whitchurch Festival. Mainman Jon Dahmes says

"Due to holidays and other commitments it became apparent that the band would only have about three days to rehearse our one hour set. Despite being touched by the hand of genius we saw that there was no way we could even remember one hours’ worth of material let alone play it all in the right order with such a short amount of rehearsal time."

The Porcupine Tree mainman bought his brother John McEnroe's autobiography for a birthday present. Controversially Steven may have received a discount on the book. We'll try to bring you more details.

The Yes vocalist has already done his Christmas shopping Silhobbit.com can exclusively reveal. In wishing to avoid the Christmas rush, Jon flew into London's West End and completed his festive gift purchasing spree in less than four hours.

Steve Wilson has announced that the band will not be promoting their forthcoming album "In Absentia" in the UK until next year at least. Even then, he doubts whether it will be a full tour, saying it's more likely that they'll play a few selected venues around the country.

Galahad

Just a reminder that Galahads first UK appearances in two years are approaching very quickly. They are looking forward to the Whitchurch Festival, on August 2, where they will be playing some of the new album "Year Zero" amongst a more normal set. However, the following weekend, the band will play the whole of "Year Zero" in it's entirety, which is how it's supposed to be experienced. Well, they've gone ad done it again. The band formally known as Grey Lazy Down, who reformed earlier this year as Edencry, have now decided to split up again. No doubt they'll be back again, under a different name. As usual, watch this space for more "up-to-the-minute" news.

Ladies man Pete is back home in the States after his recent tour with The Vines and Glastonbury show. He'll start work on a new record during July with ex-Dirty Bird bassist R Walt Vincent and other friends. 

His latest single "Strange Condition", taken from his fabulous Silhobbit recommended album "musicforthemorningafter", is released on July 15th on Columbia records.

Italian 70's Prog legends Aesop's Fables have recently reformed with their original front-man Gabrielle back leading the band again! They are working on new material and are hoping to tour sometime after Christmas.

Coastproggers Galahad have announced a couple of gigs in the near future. They'll be playing at the Herringthorpe Leisure centre in Rotherham on September 14th. They will also be appearing at Mr Kyps in Parkstone, Poole on October 19th. More details on their website 

Mick Kahn has spent some time recently playing down some bass tracks for Kate Bush's forthcoming album, due around Christmas 2002. Kate recently sung with Dave Gilmour, as revealed exclusively here.

Silhobbit were again correct with the inside information about Mason joining Roger Waters as a guest to his London show - July 26th 2002.

The ex Pink Floyd bassist/vocalist played a fantastic set of his classic work with Pink Floyd and as a solo artist. Songs performed included Shine On, Pigs on the Wing, The Wall (side one) and a "Wish you were Here"...indicating a Floyd reformation as lyrics were changed to "Wish They Were Here"!

The Jadis frontman is still gutted about Spencer's departure from Big Brother. "I voted out Alex, so I'm devastated that Spencer has gone. He was getting on so well in the house."
