Prog fans were left stunned yesterday after a long police investigation finally brought the end of a sickening side-show slave trade run by members of Pendragon and IQ

The jury were told of how Nolan, Barratt and Mike Holmes ran a lucrative underground operation buying cheap dwarfs from South America and importing them into Italy and Spain where they are highly popular as circus attractions

Leaving Court - Guilty

Surplus Midgets are surplus in South America but popular in Italy and Spain

Evidence has shown that Nolan would travel to Brazil where there are suplus midgets where they are no longer the crowd pullers that they used to be.

This pintsized couple were were conned into a sick promise of money, a house and cds.

Once Clive had their signature they belonged to him and as his property there future is bleak.

Nolan and Orford would buy cheaply from special auctions as many as 20 dwarfs at a time.

Buying in bulk meant they could get very good deals and ship them to ports in the Mediterranean where they would be sold to European circuses and bars where there is now a massive demand for human curiosities.

Mike Holmes had many contacts

Mike Holmes had built up a database of contacts and would drive the dwarfs in cattle trucks to an underground supplier in Madrid.

After a tip off from grass Gary Chandler, Police were shocked when they intercepted a cargo bound for Spain.

They uncovered two huge wooden crates packed with midgets, many had not survived the two week journey.
