Day Drinking Bender Leaves John Mitchell "nearly left for

The 'Reading Badass' , guitarist John Mitchell is known
for extravagant parties and a champagne lifestyle - so we gatecrashed his 30th
birthday party....and he was so drunk he didn't even know!
John Mitchell is in about seven bands at any one time so
Silhobbit.com knew that there would be plenty of big names attending such a
prestigious celebration. The guest-list was a 'whos who' of the music scene.
When JM has a party his people gather.

| Many of the revelers had began drinking at John's pad in leafy
Reading several days before the official start of
the shindig. We arrived at about 9pm at a classy strip-bar what does tapas.
Beer
was flowing freely and Mitchell and his friends are no strangers to this bar, in
fact they even have a drink named after him! If you ask for a 'JM' the saucy
barmaids will serve you cold beer topped with two tequila shots and a slice of
lemon.

Incredibly, whenever John Mitchell has a
bash, there is never any trouble! Each year his birthday
bash gets bigger and bigger.
Jadis's drummer Cheese Pasty can knock back several 'JMs'
"The trick is to bite the lemon, keep it in your mouth and then tilt your
head at a 45 degrees angle then swallow the lot down, including the fucking
peel!" he explained
"after three JMs you start to struggle" he boasted.

| Plenty of John's friends arrived in limousines including
It Bites boys John Beck and Dick Nolan. Due to their celebrity status they
attracted a lot of female attention, although John and Beck don't drink very
much they were still able to enjoy themselves. |

Dick Nolan comforted one poor girl who
had got over-excited at the occasion.
"At these parties sometimes the
girls drink a bit too much. They get caught in the moment and
it is a shame because pretty girls can get taken advantage of.
"
Caring Dick made sure this lass drank
plenty of water and he stayed with her to make sure she would
not get into any trouble.
"I'm no saint myself, but I feel it is my moral duty to
help when I can" he explained

Raggett flew back from New York for the weekend to attend.
"I couldn't miss this for nothing" he told
silhobbit.com
"Diane had spent weeks preparing
for this, and I couldn't let John down. She'd sent out the
invites, spent thousands on flowers and given us all the red
carpet treatment. I couldn't let her or John down." he
added
"Mitchell has done a lot for all his people and I
wouldn't miss this for all the porn in Holland" reveals

| When the clock struck midnight everyone
left the Tapas bar and headed to 'The Turtle' a rock club in
the heart of Reading central. Silhobbit was refused entry at
this point and returned back to our headquarters in Hemel
Hempstead. We'd enjoyed the chance to capture the party and
make a public record of music's "next big thing"
John Mitchell.
One guest told us "if John tells us a joke - we all die
of laughter, if John shoots at us - we'll all die from
the bullet wounds"

A guest who went back to John
Mitchell's house reported that after John Beck had had a few bottles
of beer he was persuaded to sit at the grand piano and perform a few
It Bites classics for the guests.
The party officially ended on Monday afternoon - three days
after it started!
