Hardman bassist Pete Trewavas was a ruined man last night after
police confirmed that he was in their custody after Police caught
him hurling concrete and pumpkins at a motorist in a calculated two hour frenzy
from a motorway bridge. Neighbour Mrs Ivy Tiddings from Stone near Aylesbury narrowly avoided being killed as she dodged the objects that Pete was dropping onto the cars. Luckily her quick thinking helped save the lives of others as she used her mobile phone to contact police who arrived within minutes. The incident ends a two year campaign of terror aimed at Mrs Tiddings who has been the victim of abuse from the bassist ever since she complained when Pete mowed his lawn at 2am. Rabbit Hutch "I complained to the police that Mr Trewavas was cutting his lawn with a petrol mower in the early hours, waking up the whole street. Since then, my husband and I have received dog-dirt through the letterbox, our rabbit hutch was pissed on, and we have had crank phone calls" wept Mrs Tiddings The road is a well known blackspot for vandals and drugs, and it is common for missiles to be thrown at cars for fun Surveillance cameras
A
Police spokesman also added "The scum that
do this put lives at risk and are looking for a thrill, usually the pumpkins are dropped first to confuse the unsuspecting
motorist then concrete blocks are aimed at the windscreen to cause maximum
damage. Mr Trewavas was caught at the scene of the crime and surveillance cameras
