The excitement in the wrestling world is growing as
Wrestlemania, the biggest event in sports entertainment, nears.
March 30th is the magical date.
Confirmed matches include a grudge match between Chris
Jericho, Dream Theatre fan and vocalist for metal band Fozzy, and
Shawn Michaels, massive fan of the Neo Christian Prog scene and mellotron player for Last Supper's
Ready. |

(l-r Edge , John Jowit, Stone Cold
'Steve Austin'.

John Jowit has written in to ask if I think World Wrestling Entertainment superstar Edge, his favourite wrestler, can comeback strongly from the serious injury he has sustained. Don't concern yourself
John.
An insider tells me that in another amazing WWE turn of events Edge will soon be back wrestling thanks to techniques inspired by fictional 70's TV show the Six Million Dollar Man (previously famous for naming its main character after present day wrestling megastar
Stone Cold Steve Austin).

I met up with Fish at a wrestling and bingo club recently and he was telling me how much he was looking forward to WWE diva
Torrie Wilson's impending appearance In Playboy.
I couldn't argue with that!
Here is a sneak preview of the April issue of Playboy!

Karl Groom writes to express delight at the return of veteran fans' favourite
Hulk Hogan to the WWE. I don't share your delight
Karl, as I remain angry at the failure to arrest and imprison Hogan for his shocking televised attack on
The Rock last year.
Hogan drove a truck into an ambulance containing the injured
People's Champion, before making his villainous escape. The ambulance was smashed, but by a miracle
The Rock wasn't badly hurt at all. The deranged Hogan, having kept a low profile, is now presenting himself as a family friendly 'good guy' to the public again. It's sickening to see people fall for it.

Mike Rutherford emails to ask for my views on what kind of encounter we can expect when
Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar have their long awaited tussle for Angle's wife (his WWE Championship belt to the uninitiated) at Wrestlemania. Well
Mike, experience tells me to expect the unexpected in such tussles. However, if I expect the unexpected it is no longer unexpected and if the expected is not expected it becomes the unexpected. Therefore I expect nothing, yet expect everything.
I hope this answers your question.

This match between Triple H and Stone
Cold Steve Austin was unlike any other match Stone Cold
has been involved in. There was nothing but hatred between
these two superstars. For the past few weeks they have been
going at it on and on. They have thirsted for each other's
blood for the longest. And finally at No Way Out they got
their chance. The big dogs had been unleashed. |
